the operators of skinbook have sincerely apologised about the advertising, explaining that they dont post the adverts but the ISP does, and that is why it is not expensive for them to operate.

skinbook is a great site! and you should join if you are interested, but dont leave YNAI, please dont. YNAI is awesome cos u are here, you should only join skinbook if you have the time to be devoted to both sites

An invitation was forwarded to me on My Space. To be honest I checked the website and I saw some of the ads (but didn't see the disclaimer, unfortunately) so I quickly dismissed it as one of those 'websites'. I will give it another go tonight.

i have created a group on skinbook for ynai members only... so if you join, make sure you join that group so we all know who's who!

Also, what's with the "ning.com" domain?.... Ah, I see now. On ning.com you can create your own social network. Unfortunately, skinbook.com is taken by someone who redirects to their commission-receiving link to allposters.com. Without such a domain, skinbook seems destined not to make it big.

  SKINBOOK has removed the adult advertising.

  also skinbook has expressed that NO under 18's may join, for the simple reason to protect them from people who use nudist sites for the wrong reasons. sorry to those under 18. very sorry.

Hey guys, just a reminder to those of you who don't remember, but IIRC, Casey and the board are against creating groups called YNAI because we do not wish to be associated with outside groups. You can put something like "friends of YNAI," but you need to distinguish that this group is not endorsed or moderated by us. Please, in the future, contact the staff before creating anything using the YNAI name.

I do notice that people who want to join "Members of YNAI" are asked for their username on YNAI.  I am presuming that the 49 yo member of the group, Arild H,  is however, not a member of YNAI ?        rdw, maybe you can check that one out ?  As Jessie said YNAI will not be connected with or moderating any group on skinbook, but that is just an observation I made.

Basically, personally I just joined to have a look at the site.  We as a team have not firmed up our views yet, so more to come

Yeah, I think it's rather lame. You can't even read the rules without signing up. I won't be joining this site. But then I don't usually like those networking sites to begin with.
