Sandy Hook trip

Any of you that live in the Northeast are probably familiar with Sandy Hook if you like C/O beaches. I love the place, but frankly, I am sick of going alone. Every year I throw the fishing line out on various forums to see if I can get a group of young people to go, but I usually fail.
Not this year! YNAI is filled with young people, many of you who live near Sandy Hook. It would be great to establish a few dates and times where we could gather at the beach. It\'s not overly hard to get to, and it\'s a blast. If SH is out of the way for some of you, I hear Long Island has at least one good beach.
So ... what do you guys think?

I would certainly be interested in meeting other memebers of this site at Sandy Hook. I went alone last summer and meeting a group of people would certainly be better. I\'m in Bergen County (about 1 hour away). Let me know of any dates as the summer gets closer.

I went there once a couple of years ago. It really is a wonderful beach.
Unfortunately now I live 4 days away by car, 3 days by Amtrak, 5 hours by plane, and don\'t have the funds to do any of the above.

I am interested in going sometime this summer when the weather finally warms up. I\'m a few hours away, but seems like it would definitely be worth the drive down there. Let me know if there are any specific dates.
