My sister Sarah and her new boyfriend, Mark, my wife Jennifer (I almost wrote girlfriend; this thing
really has to sink in

) and I went to Manhattan Beach yesterday and today to watch the annual 6-man beach volleyball tournament, and it was awesome, more than 30 teams competing, with hundreds of the
most drop-dead gorgeous girls (Jennifer and Sarah said, boys, as well

; almost all around our age, very few people over 30 years old) participating and watching. We hadn't seen, for the longest time, this many beautiful people in one place, wearing the most skimpy/sexy beach stuff imaginable. It was just awesome

!
We had planned to spend next Saturday at Glen Eden nudie resort. It's a lovely place and one of the few in Southern California where social nudity is o.k. (after San Onofre state beach was shut down for nudies last month

). Problem is, most people there are 30 years old and up, and to be honest, I have
yet to see 10 people our age on one day and, for that matter, as beautiful as those in Manhattan Beach yesterday and today. So Mark who is somewhat a rookie nudie (he has been to Glen Eden with us twice, so far) suggested we should go to Venice Beach instead, to watch WWE's "Wrestling Beach Bash" where, most likely, another truckload of beauties will show up.
I'm torn; as a dyed-in-the-wool nudie, I really enjoy being naked and spend the day at Glen Eden; on the other hand, as much as I loathe wearing beach stuff, it was just overwhelming to be among so many beautiful young people.
So, where would you go?
