Danee, Is this a naturist event or one where naturism is permitted?

I believe it to be the latter JB

Line ups released
THE VALLEY OF THE ANTICS stage - new to the Garden - has now released their full line up. This stage is brought to you by The Antic Establishment: connoisseurs and exponents of the best in bright, fresh live music and progressive dance music; exquisite, interactive, poetic décor and revolutionary, revelatory games for the twenty-first century! The area is co-programmed by Wormfood, Man Make Music and Deviate, with surreal large-scale team games by Rootatroupe, performance poetry by Hammer and Tongue and acoustic acts hosted by Olivia Lila (Kick Cabaret) and Bunty.

Highlights of the live music programme include rising reggae star Natty, UK beatbox champion Beardyman, awesome live hiphop from Bad Science and Lazy Habits, loop pedal craziness from UK Indy music winner Joe Driscoll, heavy live dub from Gentlemen's Dub Club, jump up country from Cut a Shine's Barn Dance and audacious party styles from Man Like Me.

Not to mention 21st century Mali-Reggae Garage from The Worm, ska/ calypso from Brothers Bab, psychedelic gypsy beats from Gypsydelica and Death Ray Trebuchey, folk from Mumford and Sons and Peggy Sue and the Pirates and rowdy baile funk from rising stars Crystal Fighters.

Man Make Music and Deviate will be proving that bass isn't just for the city as they inject their own low-end driven sense of fun in to proceedings…

We’re proud to welcome DMZ & FWD resident DJ Chef - the nicest man in dubstep, East London insomniacs Husley & Gunz, bassline king L-Vis 1990 and dancehall pressure from Blaise Bellville. Top this off with original party starter J*Star, turntablism from the No Fakin DJs and of course MMM and Deviate’s finest residents. The Valley will be offering quality dance music from across the spectrum to tickle those chest-plates, raise some smiles and get that mud-a-shuddering!"

Press....
Participation at SGP News Story. We've got them to play and this year there will be pianos all over the site.... Read on..... "My names is james, im a piano player who is looking to play at the festival this year. this is why, last year i went to the festival and met a singer. i used to wake up in the morning and play the paino in a tent by the big red bus for about a hour, people would come in and shout requests at me and by the end of the hour they were dancing and singing along to what i was playing. then i met a girl onthe sunday who said she wrote songs but had never sung them to anyone before. she sang them to me, i was blown away, and we spent the whole day in the tent putting piano parts to her songs. ever since that day she's been travelling to bristol to make more songs, we've written a whole set now, and have played afew gigs. everyone who comes to see us play always says they cant belive this girl hasnt sung to anyone before she met me. she has an extrodinary talent, and i'd really love it if you could take a few minutes to listen to our music. as we met completely randomly in the secret garden party, we owe everything we've done to the festival. so it would mean soo much if we could play this year. if there are any cancellations, or any stages that need gaps filling we would be honoured to play. we would never have made any music if it wasnt for the festivaL, and thats why love it, and want to play so much! you can listen to our music here - www.myspace.com/toyfacetunes" NAKED BIKE RIDE

Thank you to all those who came and had fun with us on their bikes last Saturday.

Green Car Tax

We will be introducing a green car tax of £5 for cars entering site with two or less people in them. This is to encourage car sharing and to reduce our impact on the environment.

The money used from this will be used to purchase trees, which will be given to the local community.
