I just wanna start out with telling about my first time(s) as I call them.
Living in where I live, I had the least amount of exposure to nudism but I always thought there should not be any rational reason why one should be ashamed of his own body. I really did not seek out oppurtunities to get nude; I merely thought being nude was OK. I sometimes kept in the buff after the shower and all that.
My first time in a single gender environment happened in Germany at a summer camp I was attending. The first day I came to camp, I found out there were only communal showers. I and my friend who is also Turkish thought that we could work that out by going in one by one. So right after we have arrived at the camping place (it\'s a work camp kind of place so we were in a building) I wanted to take a shower while my friend watching out.
Nevertheless, things did not work out as we had expected because as he told me later 3 people came in and while my friend was busy introducing himself to one of them, the other two hit the showers. Surprise! I first did not hear them \'cause of the water but then I just found out that I was naked in a shower room with two other naked guys I have seen for the first time. Boy, I can still remember everything. I thought I had to play it cool at first and did not talk much but they were really friendly and after 5 minutes I have forgotten I was nude or just did not care. It really was the first step for me towards nudism. It was because I simply was not introduced to the idea of being naked in front of others and the gender of the people did not really matter at that time. Being in front of boys was a big step indeed. My other friend, however, took a step backwards and started showering with a swimsuit. He was extremely shocked to see me shower naked at the shower room at the pool we went there.
My mixed gender nudism experience took place in Ukraine where we went for a school trip. It was merely 10 people selected to represent our school and I was also on the team. One day while we were staying at the hotel, we got bored and decided to hit the pools (3 boys and 2 girls). No one had swimming trunks except me (ironically) but after some discussion they decided to come with their underwears (bad idea, bad idea. I still cannot believe they decided to do that initiially). However, just as we checked in, got our towels and got access to the pool area; we saw that nearly everyone was naked. At first we all looked at each other to decide what to do. I then said I would be going nude and did not care what they really did. At first only one of the girls, who agreed that underwears are worse than going nude, agreed. I immediately stripped down and she took her stuff off whence she was in water. Others first declined to get naked so they came in with their underwear only to find that they were practically naked with them. So the other two guys also took off their clothes and the other girl just took her top off.
It was just 3 hours in my life I will never ever forget. It was extremely fun. I am just sad that my friends there just consider it an adventure they had in the past. We still talk about it (but we have not told it to anyone except our close friends who could understand) but they said they would never do that kind of thing again. Just one of the boys said that he went skinnydipping after that experience but he was drunk doing that.
