España alcanzó cierta notoriedad en la escena naturista internacional en 2006 porque se cumplía el aniversario de la Federación Española de Naturismo (25 años), por eso la mayoría de eventos naturistas a nivel internacional tuvieron lugar en España. Como por ejemplo la Gala de Natación Naturista que se puede ver abriendo este informativo de Tele5.
