The Youth Ambassador program last summer unofficially adopted this new symbol as their logo. Everybody thought it was pretty cool, made a pretty awesome t-shirt. But....some older nudists, when the logo was shown, had some complaints. Some said it was sexist, even though our girls thought it was bad ass. Some said it was vague and not specific for nudism. Some said it was too complicated. BUT....it isn't FOR them. It is for YOUNG nudists, so....what do YOU think? Like it? or not? And....why?

I completely agree with your point that it isn't FOR them. Seriously though, could we ever come up with the perfect logo that all generations appreciate? We're adults, and I hope they can learn to trust us enough to grow the community even if everything isn't to their tastes.

That is a cool design.
So much of the naturist community is geared towards older folks, it is only reasonable that the younger generation as a group might have something of their own that the older folks don't identify with.

cool design, terrible logo. Too complicated. Also...no nudity in a 'nude revolution' symbol? Seems a bit ironic.

Ye i agree great design good for t-shirts, mouse mats etc but probably too big for a general symbol or logo. Also i don't see why the figure can't be nude and if some people think it is sexist perhaps a male version could be created. But overall thumbs up it's modern and sleek.

I like it to an extent. It looks way too much like something a sorority girl would have on the back of her Honda Civic or perhaps on the back of a HUGE truck with those silhouette mudflaps... *
*no offense meant to said sorority girls or people with large pick-em-up trucks with naked lady mudflaps, apologies are hereby given to said parties

I think the logo is pretty awesome, but I will have to agree with Christine's opinion that since the girl is covered in the genital and breast areas I gives the connotation that those parts need to be covered. I also "sort" of agree with the opinion of older nudists because the since the logo was created by a young group of people, older nudist may not like the new trends. They may also debate that the logo lacks of family values that encouraged in nudism. My sister and I loved the design, my mom and dad also liked it a lot but they agree with some comments that the older nudists have mention before.

The point is though that it was made to promote young people and its kind of the story here with nudist clubs that anything set out for young people unless they are little kids gets looked down on. They want to sit around and not keep themselves in shape and not do anything that might want to make a kid THINK he or she would want to visit and stay over at a club. I think this is good they are doing it and if its on teeshirts then it has to have her boobs and that covered. change the color and lose some of the other things that ppl said about too cluttered. Or just put a David Hamilton or Jock Sturges photo on it!

I for 1 like it and if i could get it as a sticker id put it on my ute, or better yet tell me where i can buy 1 of these t-shirts and I'll wear it with pride But you know what they say, you cant please all the people all the time, no matter what you do some body would find some reason to complain about it. Cheers Josh

I really do like it, except it does seem very geared towards girls and the like.

I suggest you uncover the breasts and the vagina however it is a good symbol. It is geared towards girls but that is good considering that male naturists outnumber women ones we should probably try to attract more girls.
