Important act in Spain against the fur industry. On Sunday January 27 the biggest anti-fur act of the year will take place in Barcelona. Our aim is to speak up for all the animals that cannot defend themselves and which are killed every year in their millions just to end up as a fur coat or fur trim.

Sweet!  are we allowed to voice our real political opinion on the fur crazies?   Evil

Mods if you could please let me know?  As long as I can express my complete unfiltered view and offer a differing view......

 ;D  Thanks Sara!

I'm not quite so gung ho on getting into a long drug out discussion on a no win topic... I was just trying to make a point.  You know me...

Thanks for being open for a chat about this though...  I'm just too tired after a long day, and don't feel quite the gusto I normally do.

Deer roast?  You too?

Vote?  Michigan I take it?

ohh btw... was always going to ask you... what is with the hat?  The logo has several connotations, and I've always been curious as to it's political intent?  Workers party? Socialism?  Communism?  Old school fashion statement of the 80's?  Cheesy

HarleyNude, as far as I know it's the new state logo of Michigan; and what's good for Michigan is good
for General Motors: the hammer symbolizes the "Hummer" and the sickle, well, I need help here  rofl!

To answer the question...

The hat is a Soviet Naval Ushunka from around the 1970's to the fall of the USSR.  The crest itself is for a enlisted soldier. I ended up getting it to add to my collection of memorabilia, and turned into everyday wear simply because it is the best winter hat I own!
