Pretty good find, like other people have pretty crude commentary especially for the 1930's.

I never knew that nudism was that popular in the 1930s I Thought it became more popular in the 1960s. Even with how fast it grew it statred in America in the 1920s with only a few clubs, but in the 1930s 4 million people were nudists. I had no idea!

Monkeyfish, largely I assuming because that was pretty much how things where down back then. The theater kept something running all the time. You would retty uch buy a ticket for the day. I know there was a movie also hd this in it but I can't remember right now.

A good video. I like it very much. It's a witness of the past and a remarkable contribution to the history of naturism

I think that's a very interesting video.... but even though the comments about the larger woman may have been intended as innocent or humorous, I found them extremely inappropriate. I actually replayed the last few seconds since I thought I heard it wrong. It may have been acceptable back then but wow.... have some friggen class.....
One thing that I noticed: Even back then the majority of the film seemed to revolve around the female body. And what about the one lady playing croquet in high-heels???

that's funny. can't believe the comments about the large lady. that certainly wouldn't be included these days.
So if the 30's saw a bit of a naturist revival, do you think it's the same at the mo?

About the comments about the fat woman. I think he took it a bit too far.

Well, I find myself in the same boat as everybody else who has commented on the narrators tact in dealing with people who are different. I wonder, as per his own statement about how people treat each other in a nudist resort, if he would have ever become a member? Other then that, I found it interesting as well. I too, as someone else has already said, noticed the lack of males. I was also wondering if the narration was researched or scripted by a bunch of Hollywood writers?
