i have not had any shared nude experiences so really i am a closet nudist at the mo. i am arranging to go to a nude swim though in the next few weeks as there are a few quite close to me. what has everyone in the north hemisphere got planned for the summer in terms of nudism? i am planning on joinng a club but on the summer solstice i am going to go for a nude cycle down the beach and watch the sun rise at around 4 in the morning. its the only time i can really cycle nude without worrying what is round the next corner. its a shame there is no one i can go with but i\'ll still enjoy it.

Hi dj

Have you checked out YBN, it\'s the youth arm of the British Naturist Association, Ben is the UK Representative of YNAI.

They organise several youth naturist events every summer .

If YNAI counts as a group or club, yes I have joined a club even though, I am wating for admin to get caught up with their paper work ....lol...no worries Rob and Casey...you are doing exactly what and where you need to be! Thanks again for your efforts, but if it doesn\'t then I am still looking at AANR and/or TNS, both waiting for information on both of them. See which one is best for students!

Absolutely great poll... Now let me step on my soap box...

I WAS a member of the Australian Nudist Federation (ANF) for quite sometime (probably 7-10 years for those that are counting). About 2 years ago I decided to stop my membership following email correspondence from the so-called committee members.

In the first instance I sent them an email message questioning the wisdom of holding their AGM over the New Year period, namely 30th December - 3rd January. I suggested that many younger people prefer to spend the festive season celebrating with friends and family who may not choose to be involved in the naturist lifestyle. For myself, there\'s nothing better than spending New Years watching the fireworks on Sydney Harbour rather than at some obsecure naturist resort thousands of kilometres away.

They responded suggesting that I was not a genuine naturist and that my opinion didn\'t count because the majority of members were over 50 and preferred to be away from crowds. And, if I wanted to change this then I should attend the AGM and cast my vote. I asked if I could lodge a proxy vote but that was refused as \"if was a geniune naturist I would attend\".

I immediately cancelled my membership in protest. I don\'t need to a formal committee telling me when and how i take my clothes off. I consider myself a geniune naturist irrespective of whether i\'m a member of an established club or not!

Ok... I\'ll step off my soap box now! Smiley

Cheers,
Sponta.

Can I join you on your soap box Sponta ?

Casey & I had a similiar experiense, hence us setting up YNAI and leaving tha ANF

The ANF is a buch of old farts who think they rule the Australian Natirist  but I have news for them, they don\'t !

There are a lot of young true naturists in Australia and the ANF can\'t get it through their thick heads that with out us (the youth natirist) the naturist federations all over the world will die off.

Well, thats enough of my cheese and crackers.

Recently, top and I have received our membership cards with AANR and TNS!  We look forward to being able to use them everywhere we go!  Better yet, the resort we are going to for spring break....gives a STUDENT DISCOUNT!  Couldn\'t ask for a better spring break than that.  Save a little money and enjoy being nude!

Actually, your AANR card will get you alot of discounts.. big ones.

On top of that, when you got your card, you should have gotten a packet of coupons for free admission to a number of the resorts in florida.

Kinda cool that I live where all the resorts are, having grown up as a nudist, I kind of take it for granted. Oh, and for the record, im 32 and have only seen snow two times.

HA!  Its 78 here now.  :-)

The TNS and AANR sound like they\'ve really got there stuff sorted. The similar associations in Australia aren\'t nearly as organised and don\'t really care about younger naturists.

Do either organisations offer much for international (foreign) naturists?
