UPDATE - Maslins Beach Olympics

Hi All

For those wanting to know if the Maslin Beach Olympics are still on due to the bad weather, I have been in contact with the organisers and a this stage they are still on, the organisers are meeting later this afternoon at the caravan park to discuss if to proceed tomorrow.

The forecast for tomorrow is for rain to ease in the afternoon but the high wind warning from the sw may cause some issues.

I will keep you all posted with information when I have some to provide. I'm currently in Sydney but will be back in Adelaide late tonight, or early in the morning.

The games have been postponed until Sunday the 4th of February due to the cyclonic weather at Maslins today.

Hi all,

Found some rather sad news today. It sounds like that the nude olympics won't be on again in 2009. This year the SUN group had a family day there, and looks like it could be the same in 2009.

Yes it is sad, in 2006 YNAI donated AUS$600 to help the games but we can no longer afford to do this.
