skinny dipping is such an unforgetable feeling of freedom, like you have no constraints in life as the water slides past your body. it should be on everyone's list of things to do in life, if only once, but for me, it'll be as much as possible! i wish they'd do away with swim trunks all together

Although, if you do have to wear a swim suit, if you've never tried them, a speedo style swim suit is best of all the others.

Comes down to personal preference, but I personally think they're the worst! Once you've experienced the freedom of being able to swim au natural, you never want to wear anything that restrictive in the water again! Or at least I don’t.

But normal trunks get all bunchy and wedgyish. With speedo style swim suits, you have many effects the same. Except for the small bit of constriction, its the most like swimming nude. Besides, other swimming trunks have the netting that serves a similar purpose.

Meh, they all feel horrible. They just all feel horrible in different ways!
I just find that the traditional trunks - i.e. the Speedo type - make me most aware that I actually have something on, before I even get in the water.
When you get out of the water, you'll still have horrible, soggy material clinging to you no matter what style you're wearing.
It is just sooooo much nicer to feel the water against your body while you're in there - and not to have that horrible, wet, soggy feeling when you come out of the water.
And of course you just dry off naturally too, if you're naked. It doesn't take long to air dry.

I'm not denying that nude is the best, just saying my preference of suits for when required.

Yeah, as I said, it's down to personal preference. If it absolutely cannot be avoided, I'd rather wear something looser.

It's true, you can't go back. It feels weird going to a beach in a swimsuit. And even stranger to see everyone else in swimsuits. I wish I'd had a pool growing up. Or now.

My first nudist experience was skinny dipping off a Thai island called Ko Samet 5 years ago. It was at night, with my girlfriend and there was lightning flashing overhead, a really amazing experience.
I guess most peoples first nudist experience would be skinny dipping with friends. It certainly made me want to try it again, and I progressed to sunbathing nude as well.

I happen to swim laps for fitness at a local pool so it's only natural to wear speedos there. I'm at the point where I wear them to the beach and for social swimming now. My friends don't mind at all. A couple friends were initially surprised but it was short lived. Now whenever I have to wear regular baggy shorts to swim, I can't stand it! Of course, swimming nude is always the preferred but not always an option :(

I remember my first nude swim. It was great. Then a few months later I had to wear swim trunks and remembered that nasty feeling. I totally like swimming nude better, don't have to worry about a damp bathing suit sticking to ur skin.

I'd love to do it some time but I wouldn't know exactly where. If anyone 's ever in the neighbourhood and fancies a swim, let me know:)

I never did learn how to swim... Sinking clothed or nude, it makes no difference to me! May it was because you live far away from a sea or river. But it´s never late to learn. I never tryed swimming nude, but i think that is great.
