Well I can add a new activity to things done in the nude list! Yesterday as I had run of the apartment, I only had to put some pants on when I thought I heard someone knock at the door. But besides spending the day nude, I also bottled the batch of beer I brewed, in my ever so natural state. It made it nice since I didn\'t have to worry about getting bleach on my clothes! Two weeks and the beer will be done, pretty sure I will get to enjoy some of it in the nude too!

Having brewed my fair share of \"Mike-ro-brew\" before, what praytell would you be doing with bleach?

Sanitizing the bottles Amanda\'s dad gave me...wanted to make sure there was nothing funky still growing in them after I washed them....Took all most all day to wash them out and removed the strange things growing in the bottom. So a quick rinse in 10% Bleach water to kill any remaining bugs, and final rinse in regular water to get rid of the residual bleach!  Good to go!

Ah, ok, gotcha now.  I usually buy new bottles everytime I make a batch, and went on that assumption.

I\'ve brewed a few batches of chardonay due to me not being much of a beer/ale drinker.  All done in my b-day suit of course.  And Bendy   come on up,we\'ll make sure you get more than enough to drink and it will all be consumed legally too.

 :?: You poor Americans....

Any 16+ year old can openly buy beer in shops in Germany. All the harder stuff (I *think* above 10 % Alc) is obviously legal for anyone 18+. And then there is apparently a whole \"parental permission\" thing going on.

Don\'t French kids of every age get to drink wine?

You Americans need to get ur priorities right.. LIS

I am mixed on the drinking thing yet realize that it is a part of growing up too. I drank and partied far more in my teens then now but that\'s how it is with everyone, everywhere too.  I do feel as Rob feels, that America has some backward ways.  Kids do drink over here of course from age whatever up.  My folks understand that and only have rules with regard to being in a car drinking or with a person who has been drinking.  My brother can certainly relate some stories if you ask him.  I can too but they arent that recent.  Smiley
The issues are responsibility are they not?  A German kid can buy beer, far more powerful then our beer and handle it.  An American kid gets busted, but then told to get his ass to Iraq to kill.
Jym, Chris will be on American Airlines flight 4000.  Get him drunk then take him to the mountains to hide him from being drafted please.

Danee I see where you are coming from, and that is the difference between American youth and that in Europe.  I always like sharing a good glass of wine or a fine beer with someone from Europe, as they have an appreciation for the beverage, rather than consuming it simply to get drunk.  A lot of work goes into creating a nice wine, it\'s worth enjoying it.  In moderation, it really is one of life\'s simple pleasures!

This is why I have taken to micro-brewing my own beer! There is something about it because you know how much work goes into making it a respect for the time and energy put into creating it. A  deep satisfaction within about the final product. I have never been one for drinking to just get drunk. I personally would rather go to a pub and enjoy the evening with some pals, wake up the next morning and not feel like a truck hit me, nor do I like the taste after the little Leprechaun that comes around and poops in the mouths of drunk people when they sleep! Yak!

Yeah, I always though it was strange here in the US that you CAN-

-Join the military and die for your country
-Drive a car
-Purchase a gun
-Purchase tobacco
-Vote
-Get sentenced to life in prison or worse (actually, thats at 14, not 18)
-Go to a doctor and be prescribed all sorts of pills

YET, you cannot buy alcohol.  Hrm.  Me thinks my country is a bit screwy at times.  Cest la vie.

Up until about 5 years ago I had a kegorator (keg fridge with a iced tap on top), and drank my fair share of beer.  Nowadays (sigh) my stomach cant handle more than one or two beers.  When I do crave a brew, it depends on what type of beer I crave.

If I have just exerted myself and am pooped out and sweaty and want a brew, I grab a rolling rock to chug.  (99.9% of the time, just plain ol ice tea)

If I am in the mood to taste and sip a beer, I like Blue Moon Belgian Wheat Ale.  Nice smooth flavor, fruity body, with very little bitter aftertaste.  If not available, Shiner Bok (From Shiner, TX) is also tasty and rich, but it doesnt have the fruity body.

Good one top!  What type of beers were they?  I suggest you save a few to drink when you go to a naturist beach, that\'s a fun thing to do!  Though it\'ll be a while before you get to do that in this icebox of a climate...
