Genital Piercings... Casual adornment, or sexual bill board?

Any thoughts?

A bit of both I suppose and like tat\'s its a matter of personal choice.  I have a friend who has a clitorial ring.  Very classy and while I think it good she can express her own thought on individual freedom, it certainly wouldnt be something I would get.  I do not know but know someone who does know, a guy who has a penis insert.
I think it is more something that is a convo sparker, and yes, perhaps something that might go beyond personal freedom of expression but like I said, I wouldn\'t do it.

one way too look at it.  There are all kinds of jewlery for the genitals, not just piercings... are these things appropriate for the nudist scene?

My opinion and my opinion only...

No, not for a genuine family oriented Naturist scene.  It draws attention to ones pubic area, not making them as normal as any other body part.  And our whole essence of our belief, is that one part is the same as the other and yes, while we all look, drawing attention to that area is not what it is about.  Not for a family place or one that is going to try to encourage kids and youth involvement.  Paradise Lakes on the other side of Florida from us, has its fair share of piercings at times.  And that certainly is not a family oriented resort, tho there are or were, a couple of kids (couple!) that lived there, the last time we were over that way.

Different resorts have different rules on things.  Some places have rules against having genital piercings and the like, some dont.  The cove has rules about it, but they are generally ignored, based on what i see there.

My thoughts on it?  I am not a fan of piercings.  There are no unwarranted holes in my body for them.  If someone else wants to do have their genitals peirced? More power to them.  It doesnt bother me, as long as the person isnt a human pincusion, or it isnt over the top.  In a nudist enviroment?  I see no problem wiht one as long as it is discreet, but again, i agree with Danee (oy vey!) that it draws attention where it shouldnt.

Also, tattoos are another form of body decoration that was not mentioned, albeit a much more permanant one.  I have 7 tattoo\'s, and have gotten looks from some people at resorts, but no comments.  No bad tattoos, nothing regretable or even remotely contraversial, but I did get looks for it.

And yeah, I think I mentioned paradise lakes here before, or maybe not by name.  When I went to Tampa a couple of years ago, I had to stay there two nights for a 3 day wrestling event.  Anyway, all I had at the time to base where to stay at, was the internet.  I looked at paradise lakes, and looked at lake como\'s, and decided to go to paradise lakes for the stay.  Was fine during the day, nice, but as soon as the sun went down, it looks like hedonism crept in.  It became very sexual, and appeared to be a swingers place more than anything.  Fine if your into that, but they should have been more upfront about it, or I wouldnt have stayed there with my son.   Needless to say, I haven\'t been back there.

I see it as piercings are all depending on where and what it is.  I think that a mans penis piercing is really for pleasure, there for making it inappropriate for  a resort.  Nipple pirecings however I feel are more of and ornimental thing.  Tattoo\'s I think are a true expression of ones self, and I think they are 100%OK.
