Godzilla has mentioned Playlinda, near the space center in Florida. I\'ve read conflicting things on other sites about legality there. What\'s the current situation? Are beach users ever hassled by Sheriff\'s deputies?
How busy is the beach?

I ave been there many many many times. Not once have I been bothered by the cops. It is also quite secluded, no gawkers either. The few other nudists I did see were... well, older than dirt.

I\'ve been to Playalinda twice & my only thought is ... be prepared to walk! \'Zilla mentioned no gawkers which is excellent, especially from a female point of view. I put that down to the fact that there are no facilities, you\'re miles from anywhere & gawkers don\'t like that!
Seem to remember a helicopter flying over a couple of times when I was there but I presume that\'s a regular occurence considering NASA has so much hi tech equipment nearby & also the beach is a protected area, if memory serves me correctly.
The majority of nudist beaches I\'ve been on all required at least one of the following:-
1) a long hike to reach them,
2) the climbing/scrambling skills of a mountain goat,
3) military planning to ensure you have sufficient refreshments for a naked day.
Haulover is the one exception thus far as at least there is the caravan selling cold drinks & food that you don\'t need to dress for to quench your thirst. On some Spanish beaches people go around with large cooler boxes selling ice lollies, cold drink & even fruit. They are a welcome site when you\'ve been sunning for 4 hours & the water bottle is almost empty & warm, despite having been covered all morning, nothing worse than drinking tepid water when you\'re roasting :(
