Just me and two buddies who decided to go skinny dipping one late afternoon last year October I think. It\'s in front of a lodge site where my family\'s company is going to build a new lodge, it\'s literally 20 miles from anything or anyone on a tropical lagoon in central Mozambique. At the moment we have a little camp site there with a water well, temporary ablution facility as in a shower and toilet in a little reed enclosure and two tents under two thatched shelters, very rustic but MAGIC at the same time!!! Just imagine taking a shower under a canopy of stars!!! As there\'s no one around I actually go skinny dipping when ever I get the chance, mostly in the evening because there\'s a bunch of native fishermen that drift by in their wooden dugouts during the day... they\'re still living the way they did 100, no make that a 1000 years ago... guess they wouldn\'t really mind, except maybe think that I\'m a crazy white person!  I could actually try and load up a couple of pictures if anyones interested???? |

My mum was working from home today and she told me that she was about to be on the phone to a foriegn office minister so I need to keep quiet. With her safe in the study, and the temperatupe in excess of 33, I took my shorts off as the heat was becoming unbearable. To my surprise, my mum suddely came down the stairs and saw me standing there in the nude. I made some excuse that I just took them off so I could get my boxers from the other room and she just laughed and said \"don\'t worry, its nothing I haven\'t seen before!\"
A few minutes later, I was sitting in my boxers in the living room, and Mum was doing the ironing. I said I needed to go to the Post Office so I was going to go up and change, and as soon as I left the room I took my boxers off and threw them at her, just as a joke. Instead of gettijg changed, I went to the study, and went on the computer to do my GCSE coursework.
My Mum came into the study and made no comment about my nudity, and then she said: \"Do you want to know a secret?\"
\"OK,\" I said, then she pulled off her dress do reveal nothing underneath. Since then I have been walking around the house naked, as if everything was perfectly normal!

that\'s awesome a londoner. very cool story. glad to hear that your mom\'s comfortable with you being nude. i think we all wish we could have a good experience like that. i do, anyway.
it\'s been super hot in the uk, too. so there\'s no reason NOT to be nude! when i was in bath a couple of weeks ago, i thought i was going to have a heat stroke. i\'d have given anything to be able to take off my clothes.
anyway, great story! hope everything continues well!

That was a great yarn there A.Londoner, and bodes well for the future, you should have used the chance to say to your mum that your are interested in naturism. You can still refer to that day and bring it up, even ask if she would like to go with you to a beach or something or at least if you can be nude around home and she also if she wished.
Don\'t worry about some doubting the story as the older you get the more you realise not only that certain things may indicate a fiction but that some truths are in fact stranger than fiction. I have experienced many things myself most on this board would not believe if i told you.

A bit of an update; the hot weather has returned and I am gradually being nude at home more and more. As my mum has said, if its more comfortable and you aren\'t embarrased why not?

The Europeans don\'t, neither does Africans who try to live like the WEST, the traditional indigenous folk on the other hand really don\'t care much for nudity, it\'s part of their culture...
The sad thing about Africa is that everyone is placed in a group whether you like it or not, once your type cast you are expected to act and behave in a certain way and if you don\'t, well scandal is the norm and every group will judge you for it!
