Hi all,

WARNING: This is *VERY* lengthy reading, and not for the faint hearted.

I found this article on one of my favourite sites: LibChrist, a website that discusses at length issues of nudity/nudism, homosexuality, pre and post-marital sex, massage, abortion, and child rearing from an unorthodox Christian perspective.

This article caused a lot of controversy when it was first published in 1995, because it dealt with the way children were raised in nudist settings in the Western world, together with how children in some non-Western cultures and societies (such as Pacific Islanders, Aborigines and Native American Indians) were raised prior to them being Christianised by WASPS.

One thing that myself and the author should stress is that no matter how idealistic or liberated some of these people in the article might sound, we are *not* proponents of adult-child sexual relationships in our culture for two important reasons: the first is legal reasons with years spent in jail being the obvious consequence, and the second is the mental and emotional pains that children in our modern culture often bear as a result.

I read and studied this a few years ago and after one gets past the \'oh wow..no way\' reaction, and reads it a few times, many points make perfect sense. It\'s good reading and well researched thoughts.
Thanks D.

Thanks for the interesting read.  This rough essay has interesting perspectives and points that should stimulate thought for those willing to step into deeper, perhaps somewhat uncomfortable waters.
