Trouble inviting people
«

I have been going to the FYN events at Sunsport since 2010. Every time I have come by myself since no one I know wants to go with me. Does anyone else have this problem? I often wonder if there are people out there who want to come but wont since they wont do it alone. What also happens to me is when I am there I tend to make "friends for the day" but never outside of Sunsport (besides a few Facebook friendships if that counts) due to the fact that the people I tend to meet are not local. Does this happen to anyone else?

From my expeirence's alot of people are willing to go nude but they have to be eased into a public setting. For example skinny dipping amongst friends is more comfortable than stranger's . Ive had expeirence's with friend's where their against socail nudity, but they've tryed it with me because I explained how liberating it is just to be naked of course it didn't go anywhere beyond a fun night of skinny dipping. With friends you gotta start off in a small group setting an ease into a public setting. Maybe start off by inviteing a couple friends to go tanning outside then just randomly tan nude? which brings the subject into another area actions speak louder than words. For example when me an acouple other friends went skinny dipping I basicly just said Im gonna go skinny dip, before anybody had a say I took off my bathing suit an I jumped in. Once I was nude everyone joined me shortly after

I've noticed that people are often willing to let someone else go nude in their presence, and aren't bothered by it if it is someone else. I've taken advantage of that loophole myself to go skinny-dipping with friends. Some of them have even joined me after a while. If the nude person acts completely natural they can establish that there is nothing awkward about nudity, and make the clothed person more comfortable with it, perhaps even enough to take their own clothes off.

Most people won't take a photo for me when i'm naked and they are clothed. I think "a time and a place" is the best addage for textiled people. there are the few that are so clothing conservative (the complete opposite of nudists) that they don't change in change rooms without a towel.

Thanks for replying. Who are these "clothing conservatives" that you describe? When I see people doing this, it's usually elementary school kids who come to my college's pool for swim classes. In the men's sauna there are few people who wear swimsuits inside. Most are grown-up enough to go nude, especially in an single-sex environment like a sauna.
