I've come across a local club - TANDO - here in newcastle, and i'd rather like to give it a go. the only problem is, is that like the swim i went to, I would be going on my own. anybody got any advice on -

*going to a club alone
*TANDO itself - is it any good?
*or would anybody like to come with me?!?!?!?!

Is this your first time visiting a club? If you're going alone, contact the club ahead of time or check their website to see if they have a policy on single males. Some clubs limit the number of single males to keep the sex ratio somewhat balanced. Go on a weekend and there's more likely to be other people there you can talk to. Bring a book or magazine or something, in case you get bored. Have fun!

I've checked, and they dont have a limit for males which saves me a lot of time!
The 'worrying' thing about it is i'm not sure i want to go alone. i know that i'll have to in the end, but its different from the swim. at least there was always something for me to do, and i dont really want to be the idiot sitting in the corner doing nothing whilst everybody else plays table tennis!

any advice or comments?

If push comes to shove and you have to go it alone, so be it!  I usually go alone and it is in that situation I just start introducing myself to club members.  If you are an introvert, this is your opportunity to become an extrovert.

Swimming naked is the BEST! When there are others around it is better!

I find that it is very easy to talk to people when everyone is naked. I think removing clothing also removes some of the psychological barriers to communication. People will probably talk to you, even without you trying. I wouldn't worry about it.

Hey bro!

I'm not sure if you have tapped this club yet but just wanted to give you my words of utterly useless wisdom! I myself have never been to a club mainly through a lack of interest but i grew up in a nude welcome household and I'm naked the majority of the time! When I'm with my mates we are sometimes clothed and sometimes nude! It depends on the temperature and where we are at! and i honestly can say i have ever felt weird! I understand what your saying bro, especially going by yourself but maybe that will be good for you! You see this, and rightly so, as a big step but don't feel worried or nervous or embarrassed! Everyone will be naked and nobody is going to care or say anything!

I would say the main problem is you may get bored! I would say the average age won't be 18! I don't know if you have many clothes optional beaches in the UK but for me personally they are much better. Also if you aren't feeling confident you can keep your togs on! Also you probably have more chance of meeting people your age... and its free! Sweet as!

Anyway bro i hope it works out for you and whatever you chose to do have a blast!
