This last Saturday I went on a long drive and went to a nudist resort in north Georgia. I was there from 9 am to 5:30 pm. There was about 200 nudist there. There was 5k run with the money going to the Human Society of that county. I walked the 3.1 miles.becuase my legs aren't in running shape and the terrain there is Brutal. My time was 57:35 I think. There was about 100 runners. Must runners finished between in 20 and 40 minutes.

Well, at least I was not last. After the walk I needed a locksmith to get my car open, I locked my keys in there  point  ballkick. And it took 3 hours to get someone to get there being a saturday and a rural location.  banghead  After I got my car open , I was out of $50. Man I feel like a moron. But the ladies in the office say it happens at least once a week there. But by the time i ate something and got down to the pool, they were done with door prizes and the award "ceremonies" and about half runners had left.

Bummer, I really wanted to meet some of them. There was about a dozen or so runners under 30 years old. But many had left by the time I had got down to the pool. I did play 3 games a volleyball, I think I was the youngest person playing volleyball. Some of the volleyball players were taking the game too serious. After the games I went to the hot tub then swam in the 75 degree pool. Most people were in the heated "conversation pool" but it was too damn crowded. I was one one only a few who braved the cool water and sawm in the big pool.  I left at about 5:30 pm. I enjoyed the weather and water but was disapointed that there wasn't many people to chat with.

any questions, or comments ??

Sounds awesome. (Minus locking your keys in your car)

I definitely want to make it out to one of the resorts for a 5K this year. Closest one is 260 miles away, so it will definitely be a all weekend event for me.

Sucks about locking your keys in the car. Were your clothes locked in as well? At least the locksmith will have a hilarious story to tell for years and years to come, haha.

Which resort? I went to Serendipity in northern GA once as a day trip when I was visiting Atlanta several years back. I don't think the place was big enough to host a 5k though. The people there were really nice, though pretty much the same with your experience - much older. Also I kind of feel I get a different reaction from some people for my being a single male there, especially from couples - do you get that feeling as well? I feel if I had my fiancee with me there, the opportunities to converse with more people would increase. I guess at Serendipity it was about 60-70% men, which is pretty much the same at most resorts I've been to, and sometimes I don't know if single men or couples make up the biggest group at most resorts.
