My first experience was this evening at Newcastle City Baths and, despite being the youngest there, it was fantastic!! i was 'pooing bricks' on the way to the pool, but afterwards - now i know why we all love it so much!! I cant wait for the next one in march, and ......... WOW!!
So, going in the pool was the strange bit really. everything else felt natural, but there was something about going in the pool. after being in the water, it felt fine, but coming out felt weird too. i only went in once, i went in the sauna afterwards and spent most of the next hour and a half in there!! but can anybody explain why going in the pool was weird and yet the steam room/sauna/hot tub was fine? was that just me getting used to the idea of nudity?
Like i said, I cant wait til the next one! I think the only pity is that the group is mainly made of older people, 25+, and me being the only teenager did feel a little strange, but i soon forgot about it.

forget that jackie - i dont want to wear clothes (in the house or caravan) again!! sadly, my family is a textile family so the only nude time i get is in bed or when the house is empty, which is sadly not often.
im so going to the next swim though!!

Glad you enjoyed it! You're lucky that at least there were some others in their 20s. Usually at the resort I go to I'm the only twenty-something, and everyone else is 50+.

Congrats on taking your first step and enjoying the group experience.
I'm guessing the reason that coming out of the pool felt weird had a lot to do with the change in friction and temperature from the water to the air. Or it just may have been psychological.
Either way, you'll grow more accustomed to it over time.

Awesome dude. Swimming naked has got to be one of the best experiences ever. I agree though that the sauna is where it's at.

hey howard,
sadly, i wasn't able to go - i had too much college work to get through! i'll be going to the next one though on the 9th? is that the correct date do you know?
Also, im planning a trip to Duridge Bay in a couple of weeks time when the weather is warmer, a nudists trip. if anybody is interested, please let me know?

Nice to see some other North Easterners on the site! I'd LOVE to go to the nude swims in Newcastle, I live a bit far away though and don't have a car so the journey isn't always easy to do... I should go to the next one, shouldn't I?

cooper - im going to the next one, would you like to go with me so you have a friendly face to meet with? would be no problem to me at all  also, i had the same worry about becoming 'enlarged' down there. honestly, if you could count how many posts i put on here asking for advice!! but actually, they were all right - despite the worries, i did not get an erection at all. in fact, the only time i felt one coming on was as i undressed. once i was walking about, it was gone noting to worry about mate, honestly. and yeah, being in the N.E is great, isnt it!!??!!?? |
