First outing of the new year!

It made it all the way up to 72 degrees today, so I was finally able to make it up to the nude beach on Sauvie's Island (Northwest Portland, OR for those who haven't been) for the first time this year!  It was partly cloudy but there was still enough sun to get some good sunbathing in; later in the day it started to get cloudy but that didn't stop me or anyone else there from staying - lots of people stayed there well into the evening.

The crowd was a bit small, understandable because it's hardly summer outside, but I was able to meet up with some of the people I met there last year and hang out for a while.  There were even enough people there to get a volleyball game going! 

The weather for the rest of the week looks mediocre at best - we might not have any consistently warm weather for a few more weeks.  But I'm glad that I was able to make it up there today and enjoy the tease of sunshine.
