So I have one in my right arm and the other one on my back, they are both trivals with no meaning whatsoever... I just liked them and think of tattoos as artistic so I had them done. I love them and want to get two more. So as far as my opinio.. I really like them and will even encourage people to get them.

What do you think abut tattoos? love them like them hate them?? have them?

I don't have any and really have no desire to get any. However, I see no problem with them. Whatever floats your boat. As long as they are tasteful...

I have no problem with tattoos as long as they are tasteful and the people who have them are willing to live with them for the rest of their lives.

As for me, I do enjoy the occassional temporary tattoo  Wink

I don't have any.  I might get some in the future but as everyone else says "who really cares?"  Right?

I have a couple myself and may do another one in the future. Each of mine has very special meaning to me..... I'd never just pick one out of a book. Those are the ones that people end up regretting later on in life. Mine were custom drawn for me by a close friend in Minneapolis who works at a tattoo shop (he's got a ton of awards and trophies for his work).

I have one on my left shoulder.  Do plan on getting more in the future.

I have one that's actually a cover up of an older one with plans for more in the future. Like Christine said it's important that whatever you get actually has some importance or meaning to you and your life. In the early years of my military career the popular thing was tattoos of the Tasmanian devil cartoon character doing various stupid things. I saw so many guys getting those things and never could understand why anyone would want them and I'm positive that most of them regretted it later on in life. The debate over body modification in naturism continues. Look for a thread regarding this from me soon....

I have a tattoo which I designed myself. I had the design for two years before I got it done so that I was sure I'd be happy with it. I kind of would like another but I don't want to take away from the impact of the one I already have.

I don't mean to be a total contrarion, but I've always felt people look better without them.  Of course, you should do what you like.

I would get one if I could find a design I really liked.  I have a friend that went to this guy and the work he does is amazing.  http://www.inklinestudio.com/Anil/AnilGupta/portfolio/portfolio.htm

I agree 100%, 37joshua;  I saw a nudie at Glen Eden nudie resort last year who was practically covered with tattoos, let's say 85% of his body;  it just looked like overkill to me, but obviously he loved it.  Funny part was people tried to look the other way, but still started gossiping about it  rofl.  Personally, I don't have a tattoo, and I don't want one;  instead I have a different kind of body modification nobody can really identify even though it's right next to my belly button, it's low-key and I like it that way (http://ynai.com/forum/index.php/topic,3712.30.html, reply #48).  I mentioned it here almost three years ago, but was told not to use that specific term, so I wouldn't.  There's only one tattoo I really appreciate, and it's on Graf Lippe's arm, hidden under his wrist watch, in "007 James Bond: Thunderball" by Ian Fleming;  yep, it's low-key  !  Aaron

Ok, maybe I'm the weird one here.... I don't have any tatoos or piercings... not even my ears.  I like my body "clean" and natural, the way I was born.  It's ok if others want to have a tatoo or some piercing, but I'm not into pain either, so for now I think I'll just stick to the way I am... I agree with Krissy, I like the way I am, but if others want to express themselves in that way I am all for it.

I don't have any "body art" either.  Can I still claim to be "natural" with a permanent retainer in my mouth? Tongue
