I haven't told my parents because they are against it. My sisters are okay with it, and we can be nude when the parents are gone, but other than that, I\\\'m a closet nudist.
What about you?

i haven\'t described myself as a naturist at all to my parents. however, they know that around the house if conditions are right i am far more comfortable not wearing clothes and prefer to be that way. they know i have visited c/o beaches and enjoyed it, and have no problem with that.
if they ever asked \"so, are you a naturist?\", i would say yes, but as it is i don\'t really need to say, because what i do isn\'t something they\'ve ever really questioned. it\'s possible that they\'ve already figured out for themselves that i\'m a naturist anyway.
its the same deal for my brother and sister. my sister recently asked if i walked round nude at uni like i do at home. when i said i did, she said, \"wow, you must really like being nude then?\" and i replied that i preferred it to wearing clothes. she was fine with that as an explanation.
so really i\'d be option three, but with a possible option 1.

Having just read the responses here I realise how lucky I am - I was born into a nudist family mum and dad encouraged us to be naked as often as possible. At home we were never allowed to wear clothes - I am 20 now and when I go home the freedom of being nude is really great and knowing that no one will say a thing. My brother and sister and very relaxed with nudity too - I do feel for all you folk who do not have supportive or understanding families or friends! Its sad that the world does not accept nudism and natruism!

At home you were never ALLOWED to wear clothes?? ??? I hope it doesn\'t mean you were forced to be naked at home. Doesn\'t nudism/naturism stand for freedom?
I am naked at home as much as possible, but that is my OWN choice. My parents have never forced me and my brothers to undress, not at home, not on nudist pools, beaches or campings, etc. I think no parents should do that to their kids.
You said it yourself: \"The FREEDOM of being nude is really great\".

well put Justin. my parents aren\'t naturists, they just take the attitude that if they or any of us choose not to wear clothes at home, that\'s our choice. they never forced us to be nude, and they never forced us to be dressed either. that, to me, is the \"right\" approach.

I wasn\'t aware of naturism\'s existence when I lived with my parents, and I figure now it isn\'t something they really need to know. For that matter, I don\'t know that I\'d really describe myself as a nudist to anyone, per say. So there wouldn\'t be much to tell.

Lets see:
My dad is one...
My mom thinks I am nuts...
And I have no siblings...
Overall I am very open of my lifestyle and my thoughts, I have nothing to hide.

none of my family know. but if i ever did tell them i can probably see my mom get mad (she doesn\'t want anyone seeing her baby nude, for some odd reason, i guess she is still scared that sickos would see me) my dad would probably disagree but tell me that it is my choice. my older sis would turn red and try not to think about it. and the middle sister (she is older than me) would be the only one OK with it, her and i are close. but i still haven\'t told anyone, maybe not until the summer time!
