I tried to start this movement with a previous discussion board topic entitled "Young Nudist Group in the San Diego Area". There was a great response to it early on, but recently is seems interest has been lost. Summer is fast approaching, and that means better beach weather. I would like to have a gathering at a Southern California location. Previously both Black's Beach and San Onofre had been discussed for the gathering. It seems that the consensus was leaning towards San Onofre. It really doesn't matter to me where, my only concern is that it happens. I want to get this started again. All of you who are on board let me know.

How about De Anza out in Jacumba? It's obviously a little farther out than the beaches, but in light of some of the recent discussions of "gawkers" on both Blacks and San Onofre it might be nice to hold it in a controlled environment...... Just an idea........  |

How about De Anza out in Jacumba? It's obviously a little farther out than the beaches, but in light of some of the recent discussions of "gawkers" on both Blacks and San Onofre it might be nice to hold it in a controlled environment...... Just an idea........ That sounds like a pretty good idea. I would prefer it at Desert Sun, but that's a bit expensive. At De Anza most people would probably stay overnight and there wouldn't be the hassle of having to get a hotel room or drive a long distance back home. Let's see what people think of the idea. I'm surprised nobody thought of this before. By the way, have you been to De Anza before? |

I've been to DeAnza once. I really liked it out there although the road out from the freeway is *just* a little rough......  I thought I rattled something loose in my SUV after the couple miles out on the washboard surface...... I'd also prefer Desert Sun, but agree it might prohibit some from coming since it is on the pricier side (although well worth it just for the views of San Jacinto in the morning and evening..... Since there are people coming from Arizona, well at least you Christine, maybe we should change it to the Southwestern Nudist Gathering. It will make it more geographical and regional appropriate.

We are expecting our first baby in June, and I'll work at my dad's law office during USC summer break, and have a couple of commitments for weekends (playing cello at Yahrzeit memorial services and such). I guess for some of us the "when" would be as important to know as the "where". Take care, Aaron |

I went to Deanza Springs today. The weather was perfect! It was about 80 outside and the indoor pool was really nice The outdoor pool is not open untill Memorial Day Weekend. I enjoyed my stay. There were only a few people there, much older than myself but nice people. They Don't mind single males there at all unlike some nudist resorts. I think it would be a great place for the South West meetup! They have two swimming pools, a jaquzi, eve hiking trails! They even have water voleyball whic is fun every Sat at 10 and 200. Oh and a resturant and bar open on weeekends. I bet it would be cheap to stay overnight for those who wanted to do that. |
