Rhyme and Switch

Now that we've switched to DST today, I think it's time to say, "bye" to the "Word Chain", "OneWord Chain" and "Switch-onym" threads and start a new and improved one where you have a choice to either
     (1)  add a word changing one or two letters, with the same number of letters as in the previous post;  or
     (2)  add a word that rhymes with the previous post, with any number of letters re the previous post;  or
     (3)  take the last part of a word and make it the first part of a new one, again with any number of letters re the previous post.

So, I'll start with the word "nudist";
The following entry could be "jurist" (options 1 and 2 combined);
The next one could be "purist" (incidentally options 1 and 2 combined, again  );
The next one could be "isthmus" (option 3);
The following entry could be "mustard" (option 3 again);
Then it's "mustang" (option 1), and so on.

So, I'll start with "nudist" ...

Yep, that's the one, Christine, and thanks for the link;  I had typed, "Limerick" in the search window, and some quotes came up, but not the L-thread  .  Now, should we revitalize it  ?  Just asking!  Take care, Aaron
