What is the best college in terms of a healthy nudist community?

I wish I could suggest one, but I personally don't know any colleges with a "nudist community." Some are more ok with nudity than others, but I've never heard of an active college nudist group or anything.

Maybe University of British Columbia (UBC) since you'd have Wreck Beach right there.

how about most of the colleges in florida? FAU, FIU and Miami are near Haulover and Sunsport gardens (within 1 hour) ... UCF is near Cypress Cove and within and hour from the tampa area resorts and USF is in Tampa. Also, FSU has Tallahassee naturally.
I'm sure someone from california or arizona may have the same situation, I'm just not familiar w the location of schools out there compared to resorts/beaches.

I was thinking the same idea about college, universities that were close to nudist resorts and beaches. but make sure the College/University has a degree/program of study that you want and like.

The sentences that Baseballfan has underlined is the best important when thinking of a college

University of South Florida has a group, although it was likely more active in the past. I suggest any college near a popular nude beach, otherwise it'll be difficult to find active naturists, students or otherwise. Of course, whether or not there's an active naturist group at a college shouldn't be in your top requirements for a school, though it helps in considering schools you might not have thought about otherwise. Good luck in your search!

I remember reading a couple years back that there were no active college nudist groups as of 2006. However, they did have a picture of (University of Pennsylvania?) students spreading the word about naturism.
Another article mentioned a USF student starting poker nights out at Paradise Lakes that saw a large collegiate attendance. However, again, that was over summer '06.

I will have to disagree with Brandon and Shane_e. I am a student at UBC and find that although there is a nude beach on campus, the majority (99.9%) of the students that make it down there (You have to walk down some 1 thousand steps to reach the beach) choose not to take their clothes off-- it is a clothing optional beach after all. There are no nudist/naturist clubs on campus. When I was taking some classes over the summer, and n early September, I would sometimes go to Wreck Beach after class, but like I said, it is very rare for students to strip down at the beach, as most just go there to smoke marijuana. I am sorry to break this to you guys, but it is the truth. Maybe jocelyn_meredith could contribute with her opinion on this, as she is also a student there.

I wholeheartedly agree with this - if you want to get naked at uni, you'll find ways - but if the course sucks, you're stuck with it

I agree with UBC. just walk across the road and you're at a nude beach.
