This was certainly an interesting selection of nudist destinations. I suppose it's hard to get all the major nudist destinations but then again some of the ones covered here are ones I normally wouldn't have thought of. I think it's a good article tor reference on a site like this, but to the nascent nudist, I think the list of destinations should include more like Black's beach, and less like the Turkish baths with Borat-like guys.

I was really excited about Spaland but being that they segregate men and women I think I'll pass.

I thought the article did a good job in representing a variety of nudist opportunities from around the world (though I don't know what target audience would be visiting more than a few on the list) but they definitely were stretching the truth on some of them so take it with a grain of salt.

I went to the Blue Lagoon in Iceland and while it certainly would have been an amazing place to go nude, nudity certainly wasn't allowed.  I was actually surprised that for all the hot springs in Iceland, there was little interest in nudism.   You did have to strip down completely naked to shower (and would be told to do so if you tried not to so as to not introduce bacteria into the natural and chemical free pools) but despite some searching on my part, there was no evidence that any communal nudism occurred beyond the practicality of showering off.

So all I'm trying to say don't go too far out of your way to visit some place on the list because their claims may be exaggerated.

No Pants Day in New York sounds amusing, I wanna try that! And I would love to go back to Japan as well. I never tried the Hot Springs yet.
